As one of the founding members of HFR, Jeff Hill brings more than 40 years of experience in industrial and municipal facilities as well as commercial buildings. These range from medical offices and retail developments to financial institutions and recreational park buildings. At HFR, Jeff prepares conceptual drawings for client presentations and oversees the schematic and design development phases for new projects. With his extensive experience in construction contract administration as well as field related construction review and coordination, Jeff heads construction projects in excess of 30 million dollars annually. He thrives in the programming, schematic design and design development phases of projects. Jeff approaches the design challenge of a new project with the mission of understanding the client vision. His real talent resides in the translation of that vision into reality. As Jeff said, “Most of what we do is detailed listening to our clients.” He believes listening is the organized discovery of gathering clear and specific input from the client. With that input as a guide, he then creates cohesive designs that satisfy the client on economical, functional and aesthetic levels. To follow through with the design intent, Jeff remains heavily involved in the construction document and administration phases for design conformance from inception to completion.
